What happened

In Coulson v ASB Bank, a self-represented plaintiff sought an interim injunction to stop ASB Bank exercising its power of sale over a property. The High Court noted content in the submissions “suggesting the significant use of artificial intelligence”, found them prolix and that they misquoted the law, and declined the application. It invited submissions on whether the proceeding should be struck out as an abuse of process.
